About the Nether Winchendon Conservation Area
The Nether Winchendon Conservation Area covers about 9.2 hectares and was designated by Buckinghamshire Council in 1971. Inside the boundary are 21 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 18 Grade II). The most significant is Nether Winchendon House, Grade I. 3 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
