About the Chilton Conservation Area
The Chilton Conservation Area covers about 7.0 hectares and was designated by Buckinghamshire Council in 1989. Inside the boundary are 18 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 2 Grade II*, 15 Grade II). The most significant is Parish Church of St Mary, Grade I. 2 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
