The Long Crendon Conservation Area covers about 38 hectares and was designated by Buckinghamshire Council in 1969. Inside the boundary are 110 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 2 Grade II*, 107 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary, Grade I. 10 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
