The West Hendred Conservation Area covers about 20 hectares and was designated by Vale of White Horse District Council in 1970. Inside the boundary are 15 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 14 Grade II). The most significant is Church of the Holy Trinity, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
