The Steventon Conservation Area covers about 28 hectares and was designated by Vale of White Horse District Council in 1969. Inside the boundary are 40 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 8 Grade II*, 31 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Michael and All Angels, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
