The Milton Conservation Area covers about 30 hectares and was designated by Vale of White Horse District Council in 1969. Inside the boundary are 19 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 2 Grade II*, 16 Grade II). The most significant is Milton Manor Cottage and Milton Manor House, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
