The Little Hadham Conservation Area covers about 2.9 hectares and was designated by East Hertfordshire District Council in 1990. Inside the boundary are 20 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 19 Grade II). The most significant is The Whare, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
