The Hadham Ford Conservation Area covers about 14 hectares and was designated by East Hertfordshire District Council in 1978. Inside the boundary are 26 listed buildings (3 Grade II*, 23 Grade II). The most significant is Ashmeads, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
