The Bury Green Conservation Area covers about 10 hectares and was designated by East Hertfordshire District Council in 1973. Inside the boundary are 24 listed buildings (2 Grade II*, 22 Grade II). The most significant is Clintons, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
