The Oxton Village Conservation Area covers about 45 hectares and was designated by Wirral Borough Council in 1979. Inside the boundary are 23 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 22 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Saviour, Grade II*. 606 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
