About the Felsted Conservation Area
The Felsted Conservation Area covers about 31 hectares and was designated by Uttlesford District Council in 2013. Inside the boundary are 54 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 6 Grade II*, 46 Grade II). The most significant is Church of the Holy Cross, Grade I. 108 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
