The Marshfield Conservation Area covers about 87 hectares and was designated by South Gloucestershire Council in 1973. Inside the boundary are 147 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 10 Grade II*, 136 Grade II). The most significant is Parish Church of St Mary, Grade I. 37 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
