The Cold Ashton Conservation Area covers about 26 hectares and was designated by South Gloucestershire Council in 1983. Inside the boundary are 17 listed buildings (3 Grade I, 14 Grade II). The most significant is Church of Holy Trinity, Grade I. 6 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
