The Wilton Conservation Area covers about 79 hectares and was designated by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council in 1971. Inside the boundary are 19 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 18 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Cuthbert, Grade II*.
