About the Eastry Conservation Area
The Eastry Conservation Area covers about 18 hectares and was designated by Dover District Council in 1971. Inside the boundary are 37 listed buildings (3 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 33 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary the Virgin, Grade I. 9 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
