The North Bovey Conservation Area covers about 4.2 hectares and was designated by Dartmoor National Park in 1973. Inside the boundary are 18 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 16 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St John the Baptist, Grade I.
