The Cirencester South Conservation Area covers about 57 hectares and was designated by Cotswold District Council in 2008. Inside the boundary are 32 listed buildings (3 Grade II*, 29 Grade II). The most significant is 1, Querns Lane, Grade II*. 44 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
