The Warley Conservation Area covers about 82 hectares and was designated by Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council in 1976. Inside the boundary are 10 listed buildings, all Grade II. 298 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
