About the Akroydon Conservation Area
The Akroydon Conservation Area covers about 18 hectares and was designated by Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council in 1976. Inside the boundary are 27 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 26 Grade II). The most significant is Church of All Souls, Grade I. 7 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
