The Wellow Conservation Area covers about 25 hectares and was designated by Bath and North East Somerset Council in 1983. Inside the boundary are 51 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 3 Grade II*, 47 Grade II). The most significant is Parish Church of St Julian, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
