About the Keynsham Conservation Area
The Keynsham Conservation Area covers about 50 hectares and was designated by Bath and North East Somerset Council in 1997. Inside the boundary are 52 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 2 Grade II*, 48 Grade II). The most significant is Keynsham Abbey Pier Base in the Garden of Number 3 (number 3 Not Included), Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
