The Batheaston Conservation Area covers about 12 hectares and was designated by Bath and North East Somerset Council in 1979. Inside the boundary are 82 listed buildings (4 Grade II*, 78 Grade II). The most significant is 15, The Batch, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
