About the West Burton Conservation Area
The West Burton Conservation Area covers about 23 hectares and was designated by Yorkshire Dales National Park in 1999. Inside the boundary are 12 listed buildings, all Grade II. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
