The LACOCK Conservation Area covers about 81 hectares and was designated by Wiltshire Council in 1973. Inside the boundary are 122 listed buildings (3 Grade I, 9 Grade II*, 110 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Cyriac, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
