The BOWDEN HILL Conservation Area covers about 81 hectares and was designated by Wiltshire Council in 1975. Inside the boundary are 23 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 3 Grade II*, 18 Grade II). The most significant is Bewley Court, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
