The Chastleton Conservation Area covers about 32 hectares and was designated by West Oxfordshire District Council in 1995. Inside the boundary are 25 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 4 Grade II*, 20 Grade II). The most significant is Chastleton House, Grade I.
