About the Lambourn Conservation Area
The Lambourn Conservation Area covers about 10 hectares and was designated by West Berkshire Council in 1973. Inside the boundary are 52 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 5 Grade II*, 46 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Michael and All Angels, Grade I. 24 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
