The Uckfield Conservation Area covers about 9.2 hectares and was designated by Wealden District Council in 2017. Inside the boundary are 37 listed buildings (2 Grade II*, 35 Grade II). The most significant is Copping Hall, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
