The Great Coxwell Conservation Area covers about 14 hectares and was designated by Vale of White Horse District Council in 1971. Inside the boundary are 21 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 19 Grade II). The most significant is The Great Barn, Grade I.
