The Upton Cheyney Conservation Area covers about 40 hectares and was designated by South Gloucestershire Council in 1983. Inside the boundary are 27 listed buildings, all Grade II. 48 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
