The Tytherington Conservation Area covers about 14 hectares and was designated by South Gloucestershire Council in 1975. Inside the boundary are 20 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 19 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St James, Grade II*. 32 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
