The Woolbeding Conservation Area covers about 6.8 hectares and was designated by South Downs National Park in 1974. Inside the boundary are 10 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 8 Grade II). The most significant is The Parish Church of All Hallows, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
