About the Madingley Conservation Area
The Madingley Conservation Area covers about 50 hectares and was designated by South Cambridgeshire District Council in 1976. Inside the boundary are 15 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 3 Grade II*, 11 Grade II). The most significant is Madingley Hall and Stable Courtyard, Grade I. 3 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
