The Croscombe Conservation Area covers about 16 hectares and was designated by Somerset Council in 1977. Inside the boundary are 50 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 3 Grade II*, 45 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary the Virgin, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
