About the Promenade Conservation Area
The Promenade Conservation Area covers about 50 hectares and was designated by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council in 1990. Inside the boundary are 26 listed buildings, all Grade II. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
