The Lyddington Conservation Area covers about 51 hectares and was designated by Rutland County Council in 1970. Inside the boundary are 69 listed buildings (3 Grade I, 66 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Andrew, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
