About the Rockbourne Conservation Area
The Rockbourne Conservation Area covers about 25 hectares and was designated by New Forest District Council in 2000. Inside the boundary are 48 listed buildings (4 Grade I, 44 Grade II). The most significant is Barn Formerly Chapel 20 Metres East of Manor House, Grade I. 10 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
