About the HAREWOOD Conservation Area
The HAREWOOD Conservation Area covers about 31 hectares and was designated by Leeds City Council in 1976. Inside the boundary are 42 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 6 Grade II*, 35 Grade II). The most significant is Harewood Castle, Grade I. 16 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
