The Bolton-le-Sands Conservation Area covers about 21 hectares and was designated by Lancaster City Council in 1981. Inside the boundary are 23 listed buildings (2 Grade II*, 21 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Michael Holy Trinity, Grade II*.
