The Littledean Conservation Area covers about 11 hectares and was designated by Forest of Dean District Council in 1988. Inside the boundary are 32 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 31 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Ethelbert, Grade I. 10 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
