The Luccombe Conservation Area covers about 8.3 hectares and was designated by Exmoor National Park in 1984. Inside the boundary are 17 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 15 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Mary, Grade I.
