The Allerford Conservation Area covers about 4.1 hectares and was designated by Exmoor National Park in 2017. Inside the boundary are 13 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 12 Grade II). The most significant is Packhorse Bridge at Ngr Ss 9051 4691, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
