The Middle Mayfield Conservation Area covers about 9.3 hectares and was designated by East Staffordshire Borough Council in 1974. Inside the boundary are 14 listed buildings (1 Grade II*, 13 Grade II). The most significant is Old Hall Farmhouse, garden wall and gate piers, Grade II*.
