The Beverley Guildhall Area Conservation Area covers about 7.1 hectares and was designated by East Riding of Yorkshire Council in 2013. Inside the boundary are 30 listed buildings (2 Grade I, 28 Grade II). The most significant is The Guildhall, Grade I. 17 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
