About the Brent Pelham Conservation Area
The Brent Pelham Conservation Area covers about 21 hectares and was designated by East Hertfordshire District Council in 1977. Inside the boundary are 19 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 18 Grade II). The most significant is Brent Pelham Hall, Gate Piers and Boundary Wall From North West Front of Hall, Turning to South West and Then South East to Gate Piers, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
