About the Great Corby Conservation Area
The Great Corby Conservation Area covers about 26 hectares and was designated by Cumberland Council in 1977. Inside the boundary are 19 listed buildings (5 Grade I, 14 Grade II). The most significant is Cascade to West of Corby Castle, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 3, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
