The LOSTWITHIEL Conservation Area covers about 31 hectares and was designated by Cornwall Council in 1969. Inside the boundary are 81 listed buildings (3 Grade I, 3 Grade II*, 75 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Bartholomew, Grade I. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
