The BUDE Conservation Area covers about 57 hectares and was designated by Cornwall Council in 1988. Inside the boundary are 17 listed buildings (2 Grade II*, 15 Grade II). The most significant is Ebbingford Manor, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
