The BOSCASTLE Conservation Area covers about 92 hectares and was designated by Cornwall Council in 1974. Inside the boundary are 82 listed buildings (2 Grade II*, 80 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Symphorian, Grade II*. Part of the area lies in flood zone 2, so an extension may need a flood risk assessment.
