The Monks Risborough Conservation Area covers about 6.4 hectares and was designated by Buckinghamshire Council in 1977. Inside the boundary are 11 listed buildings (1 Grade I, 1 Grade II*, 9 Grade II). The most significant is Church of St Dunstan, Grade I. 6 Tree Preservation Order records overlap the area; every other tree here still needs six weeks’ notice before work.
